This is our ministry for single parents. Several times throughout the year we host a Single Mom's Car Care and Single Mom's Clothes Closet. There are also classes specifically for single parents on Sunday mornings.

| Car Care and Clothes Closet is a ministry for single moms and widows to bring their cars to the church on a scheduled Saturday morning from 9-11:30 AM. Qualified mechanics and their assistants volunteer their time and labor to do basic maintenance on the vehicles. They will change the oil and filter, check all fluid levels and perform extensive safety checks at no charge. The Clothes Closet is available for anyone in need. You may visit the Clothes Closet between the hours of 9 AM-noon in room 2100 in the Family Life Center. To make an appointment for Car Care, call the Singles Office at 704-531-4036, The 2009 schedule is as follows: 1/24, 3/7, 4/25, 6/13, 7/25, 9/12, 10/17, 11/21. |

| Come join us the weekend of August 21-23 for an outdoor experience. Take in the beauty of the Dan River and worship outside in a cell phone, TV, and computer free environment! For only $100 dollars you will get:Two nights Camping (tents & setup included. Campground has bathroom & shower facilities and even a swimming pool!). Two Days of Kayaking & Tubing on the Dan River. All Meals Covered beginning with Friday Lunch through Sunday breakfast.Transportation will also be available for a limited number of people and handled on a first come first serve basis, with sign up.Registration requires a $25.00 deposit and the remaining balance must be paid by August 19.
