The Gathering

Visiting a new place can be overwhelming because you have no idea what it is like. The Gathering is where it all begins. If you are new or are considering returning to the Singles Ministry after a time away, we have made it very easy.

At Main Campus, we meet in Gym C at 9:15 AM.

At North Campus, we meet upstairs in the Gathering Place at 9 AM. It is also during this time that you get a chance to sign up for trips, events, and everything else that is happening within the ministry.

Sunday School Classes

The true heart of our ministry. It is here that you are able to learn about God's Word, how it applies to your life and witness transformation, not only in your life, but, in the lives of those in your Sunday School class. We offer classes for single ladies only, classes for single parents, classes for specific age ranges and we even have classes specifically designed for those who are single again after divorce. Whoever or wherever you are, we want you to be a part of this ministry.

Many people believe that becoming financially free is learning how to create a spending plan and invest for the future, but that’s only partially true. The most important thing related to managing money is the attitude of your heart. What is the heart choice behind the money decisions that you make? And, what is guiding your heart?

The Bible contains 2,350 verses dealing with money and possessions. Applying this timeless wisdom is the key to financial success. Through this 10-week experience, Crown Biblical Financial Study teaches practical and life-changing financial principles that millions of people around the world have used to make successful money making decisions.

The Crown small groups meet for ten consecutive weeks. Classes are offered on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 PM and Sunday evenings from 4:00 – 5:45 PM. Car Care and Clothes Closet is a ministry for single moms and widows to bring their cars to the church on a scheduled Saturday morning from 9-11:30 AM. Qualified mechanics and their assistants volunteer their time and labor to do basic maintenance on the vehicles. They will change the oil and filter, check all fluid levels and perform extensive safety checks at no charge. The Clothes Closet is available for anyone in need. You may visit the clothes closet between the hours of 9 AM-Noon in room 2100 in the Family Life Center. To make an appointment for Car Care, call the Singles Office at 704-531-4036. The next scheduled Car Care and Clothes Closet is March 13.
